Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of SquadNote (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Article 1 (Application)
- These Terms apply to all relationships between users and the Service operator relating to use of the Service.
- The operator may establish additional rules or provisions for use of the Service. Regardless of their name, those provisions form part of these Terms.
Article 2 (Registration)
- Registration is completed when an applicant agrees to these Terms, applies by the prescribed method, and the operator approves the application.
- The operator may reject an application without disclosing the reason if the application contains false information, the applicant has previously violated these Terms, or the operator otherwise considers the registration inappropriate.
Article 3 (Management of Credentials)
- Users are responsible for appropriately managing authentication credentials such as their Google account.
- Users must not transfer, lend, or share their authentication credentials with any third party.
Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)
Users must not engage in any of the following conduct when using the Service:
- Violating laws, regulations, or public order and morals
- Conduct related to criminal activity
- Infringing copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights contained in the Service
- Destroying or interfering with servers or networks of the operator, other users, or third parties
- Improper commercial use of information obtained through the Service
- Conduct that may interfere with operation of the Service
- Unauthorized access or attempts to gain unauthorized access
- Improperly collecting or storing personal information about other users
- Using the Service for an unlawful or improper purpose
- Causing disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to other users or third parties
- Impersonating another user
- Advertising, solicitation, or business activity not authorized by the operator
- Other conduct the operator considers inappropriate
Article 5 (Suspension of the Service)
- The operator may suspend all or part of the Service without prior notice for maintenance or updates, force majeure, failures of computers or communication lines, or when the operator otherwise determines that providing the Service is difficult.
- The operator is not liable for disadvantage or damage suffered by users or third parties due to a suspension or interruption.
Article 6 (Copyright)
Users may post or edit only text, images, videos, or other information for which they own the necessary intellectual property rights or have obtained permission from the rights holder.
Article 7 (Usage Restrictions and Account Termination)
The operator may restrict all or part of a user’s access or terminate registration without prior notice if the user violates these Terms, provides false registration information, or the operator otherwise considers the user’s use inappropriate.
Article 8 (Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability)
- The operator makes no express or implied warranty that the Service is free from factual or legal defects, including defects in safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, errors, bugs, or infringement of rights.
- The operator is not liable for damage arising from use of the Service.
Article 9 (Changes to the Service)
The operator may change, add to, or discontinue the Service after giving users prior notice.
Article 10 (Changes to These Terms)
The operator may amend these Terms when necessary. A user who begins using the Service after an amendment is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
- The court having jurisdiction over the location of the Service operator has exclusive agreed jurisdiction over disputes concerning the Service.
